Data suggests that the silver economy could serve as an economic driver. It is estimated that from 2015 to 2030, estimates show that people over age 50 will be the source of nearly 60% of all growth in consumption.

LAC is now the most rapidly aging region in the world. Projections hold that by 2050, more than one in every four people in the region (27.5%) will be over age 60.
